I have selected this photograph because of the strong message I got through interpreting it. The use of a wolf as a typical symbol for an aggressive man reflects the body language and expression of the man in the foreground of the image, his arm wrapping tightly around the woman and his face intent and focused on her. Just as the wolf appears to be stalking the couple, so does the man seem to be preying upon the woman. However, this intereptation is still completely suggestive and subjective; there is no title or explicit implication that this is what the image is about. The different patterns in lines of the bars of the zoo cage as well as the chain-link fence are also very intriguing and pleasing to the eye, creating a grid in which the couple intersects.
