Week 1, Assignment 1

When I picked up a digital camera for the first time when I was fifteen, I knew it would be all downhill from there. My love with the visual has only grown since then, to the point that I know it is what I want to do with the rest of my life. I dedicate myself fully to everything I do, photography included. I like to tell a story, even one that is not clear and can be interpreted thousands of ways. I believe photos capture an experience, and thus are able to speak to just the photographer or to a whole host of people.

I haven't decided to concentrate on a single area of photography yet, as I enjoy a wide range of subjects. Below are some photos that explain who I am in a variety of ways. These images represent me as a photographer, what I enjoy photographing and where I intend to go with it.
